Probably the most picturesque golf course in the Midlands
situated on the dramatic slopes of Lickey Hills Country
Park. Huge banks of pine trees tower above the seventh and
ninth holes and the course enjoys the sort of setting
usually reserved for the most exclusive of clubs.
On a summer's day the course is golfing paradise.
Lickey Hills Golf Course, the home of Rose Hill Golf Club.
Lickey Hills Golf Course was established in 1921, the land
was gifted by Cadburys to be used as a golf course and is
currently run by Birmingham city council. The course is
considered to be one of the best municipal golf courses in
the country. The course is an undulating parkland course
with banks of forest pines and far reaching views, so if
you are not quite on your game you can still enjoy the
beautiful surroundings.
